First Project progress


The two objects that I am committed to creating for our first project as mentioned in my previous related post is a power-generating garden tool and a solar curtain. While the garden tool is remaining mostly unchanged the solar curtain has changed into what I am calling solar paddle lights.

First Project

The first year students have been assigned a project that is to address ‘evolutionary behavior’ in a home and to create 2 objects specific to that environment. The guidelines are loose which allows for myriad responses to this assignment. During my investigation into what I thought might address ‘evolutionary behavior’ (I watched A LOT of TED videos, read articles by think tanks and futurists, emailed people, etc), I googled ‘peak oil’ and basically was floored by what I found.
