BioFiber Chair

Specs: EcoResin Plastic Inlays, BioFiber Wheat Board, Neodymium Magnets
29”(H) x 21”(W) x 21”(D), seat height is 17.5”

Process: Because BioFiber Wheat and Varia EcoResin is machinable, I designed the chair to be made from pieces that could be cut with a 3-axis CNC router.

Variation Desk

Specs: EcoResin Plastic, Powder coated Mild Steel, Maple
27.5”(H) x 41”(W) x 20”(D)

Process: While the base of the writing desk was being cut, bent, and welded by a local metal worker, the desk drawer was being made by a local cabinet maker. I cut out the pieces for the desktop with a CNC router, then bonded them together using epoxy. Once the base was complete, I had it powder coated by a local business. After staining the drawer, I was able to assemble the desk quite easily using five pieces of hardware.
