We were told yesterday that Maaike Evers of Mike & Maaike will be coming by Wednesday to show us some of their work and chat with us a bit. Max Lamb is coming to visit this week! He will be giving a lecture on Tuesday night and working with us (the 3D dept) on a week-long project that will result in a show at Cranbrook’s Forum Gallery on Friday night. Should be nothing short of great! I will hopefully have some documentation to post during the week.

Volume Gallery

Claire Warner and Sam Vinz of Volume Gallery paid us a visit yesterday to explain how their gallery works. Their gallery is one of a very small handful of galleries devoted to the emerging designer. Their model is fantastic. We also talked about the limited edition process, design as art, american design(ers), getting objects made, and many other interesting topics. They were also kind enough to give feedback to many us of about our work. Thanks Claire and Sam.
