I have modified the design for the dome light (see post on dome light here)so that the base is glass resulting in a ‘floating’ dial light switch and light source. It is reminiscent of tea lights floating in water. I need to begin work on the connecting points for the case as well as housing the lighting hardware and switch. I also need to figure out how the dial will move while the rest of the light remains stationary. I think the weight of the glass will help resolve this. We’ll see…
