I am looking at the necessity to change furniture typologies in response to the ways that we consume media or a coffee with friends. The current design for this table addresses the need to have a working surface for a laptop or other digital device. It can also be used as a cafe table for up to 3 people with their own space allowing for a drink and not much more. It might also work well in a home as a side table for a lounge chair or sofa. An adjustable top will be necessary to clear arm rests.
